CRAZY WALLY THE GOLDENDOODLE COOLS OFF

WE had a fantastic day out with the gorgeous Murphy and his family last week…

That boy really is a stunning Goldendoodle and I’m pleased to say Wally and him hit it off famously !!!

It was a long drive for our two ‘doods ~ a country park near Huntingdon…

(oops forgot the name lol) ~ but they were certainly ready to go on our arrival !!!

Murphy did his usual greet everyone enthusiastically…

And then half an hour later did a classic double take and realised it was his granddad and jumped into his arms !!!

Such was his enthusiasm he left poor Neil with a scratch to his face and sore back lol…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all of Millie’s gorgeous pups – one year old today !

NEW BORN GOLDENDOODLE PUPPIES

I can hardly believe it’s been a year since all nine gorgeous Goldendoodle puppies were born – how time flies !

The fantastic news is all the pups are healthy, happy, and more than content…

And despite a few typical naughty puppy moments all are well behaved !

I’ve been lucky enough to have kept in contact with all of the families…

And it’s a real joy to get to meet some of them and the pups on a regular basis…

We were supposed to meet up with little Tilly whilst we were in Liverpool recently…

But regular readers will know I got a little distracted and ended up with a new pup of my own !

I’m also yet to catch up with my darling Max (aka “Dave” lol), Digby and Mazola…

But the families have been kind enough to keep in touch and let me know how they’re all getting on which is great…

So with out further ado here’s a quick rundown on how they’re all doing !

MURPHY

MURPHY AFTER HIS RECENT “TRIM” LOL

Of all the goldendoodle puppies I’ve had more contact with the stunning Murphy than any of them…

His amazing family are more than happy to make the long journey to the Midland ‘Doodle meetings…

And Murphy is always delighted to see us – last time he actually slipped his lead and dived into the car !

He’s a superb dog, well mannered, well behaved a real credit to his loving family…

LILLY

Lovely little Lilly is cute as a button but very naughty !

I’ve been lucky enough to see a lot of Lilly and she is a little whirlwind !

Of all the pups she’s been the naughtiest – in a purely nice way of course lol…

We had a fab time with her at the recent Doodle camping weekend where she was reuinited with mum and sister Molly…

Molly was the little princess of the litter and a stunner from the day she was born…

It was great to finally see her again at the recent ‘Doodle camping trip in Devon…

She is so like her mum Millie in temperament it’s untrue – she’s absolutely gorgeous and a fantastic little dog…

She’s also won both a photo competition and dog show !!!

It was a real pleasure to see her again and we had a great time with them – lots of kisses for Millie’s dad too lol…

Lulu…Lulu…Lulu…hehe…

Where to begin with this little minx..?

Remember how she drove Millie’s dad nuts as a puppy..?

Well she is an absolute furball but that perfect photo belays her real nature – she’s a doodle dynamo and then some !!!

She is the life and soul of any gathering and absolutely adores Stan the lab who she lives with – OK torments him to pieces !!!

I’ve met up with her and her amazingly patient family many times and she’s joined us on the doodle meetings often…

What can I say apart from WOW !!! This girl is mad as a box of frogs – never stays stills and delivers live mice to her mom daily !!!

She’s absolutely stunning and an absolute character – love her to pieces – but she’d wear me out in a morning lol…

COOKIE

COOKIE IS A PICTURE PERFECT GOLDENDOODLE PUPPY

Cookie is absolutely gorgeous and the epitome of an F1B Goldendoodle if ever I saw one…

That gorgeous coat needs a lot of grooming and recently she was clipped for the first time…

We were thrilled to meet up with her at the latest Midlands ‘Doodle meeting…

She is an absolute stunner with a very kind a loving nature – another just like her mom…

She absolutely adores her family and is an absolute credit to them…

MAZOLA

MAZOLA GIVING THE HIGH FIVE

Mazola was always Neil’s fave pup (Millie’s dad) and was thrilled to receive these photos recently…

She has grown into a very very big girl and looks the picture of health and happiness…

So there you have it – an update on that amazing litter of Goldendoodle pups who caused all the chaos last summer…

It’s been fantastic to keep in touch with their progress and meeting most of them has been fab…

MILLIE AND WALLY GREAT GOLDENDOODLE MATES


WALLY the Goldendoodle is growing at an alarming rate of knots!!!

As you can see at 16 weeks he’s almost as big as Millie…

The boy is going to be huge – just what we wanted…

And the fantastic news is Millie absolutely utterly adores him…

They really are great friends are hardly ever apart…

Unless of course her best mate Biddy the Labradoodle is about !!!

Wally has been a little timid and very nervous around people…

This is in complete contrast to Millie who loves people to pieces lol…

We had a funeral to attend last week and we left the dogs with Paddy ~ Lynn and Biddy…

Wally was a little nervous by it all – but we know the more new people the better…

So at last weekend’s Midlands ‘Doodle Meet – we were a little worried how the little chap would take it…

MURPHY AND LULU THE GOLDENDOODLES SWIMMING WITH MUM !!!

Two of Millie’s pups were there – the magnificent Murphy and lovely (but loopy) Lulu….

And they made a great fuss of us as we arrived which really was lovely…

As expected Wally despite his size and bravado in the house – was a little stunned by all the people and ‘doods…

MILLIE’S HALF SISTER MAISIE SAYS HELLO IN DOODLE STYLE TO WALLY


Being the baby of the bunch everyone wanted to say hello and fuss him to pieces…

But knowing how nervous of people he was everyone was given little treats to coax him to them…

Everyone was fantastic and very gentle and Wally quickly relaxed and strained at the lead to run free…

It was his first run with a pack and boy did he love it !!!

Of course Millie led the way with Biddy close on her heels…

It’s my favourite part of the any ‘doodle meet – letting them all free from their leads…

And at Coombe Abby the dogs have a super free run…

We let them loose in a lovely wood that leads to a huge open area – and boy do they charge up that hill…

THAT’S ME ON MY BOTTOM AFTER A PACK OF ‘DOODLES CRASHED INTO ME LOL

And yes I still have the bruise from my tumble lol…

From their we head through beautiful wooded pathways edged by ditches…

At this time of the year they are filthy filled with stinking gloopy mud…

And yes you guessed it the ‘doodles absolutely love it…

Within 10 minutes we had a pack of very muddy ‘doodles – except Wally he seemed bemused by it all !!!

A VERY MUDDY LULU (WHO ELSE COULD IT BE LOL)

Millie had a fantastic time – as did all the ‘doods – and both of our ‘doods came home absolutely worn out…

The meeting did Wally the power of good – he’d never seen so many dogs and people…

I’m pleased and proud of how he handled himself…

Whilst he’s still a little nervous around strangers he’s coming out of his shell…



I’ve taken him to two puppy classes now and progress is good…

He handled his first trip into the town centre very well and my initial concerns are now gone…

I just think he’s going to be an easy going laid back dood around people – so unlike Millie !!!

OK that’ll do for now but just to say Neil has a new site you might want to have a look at…

Ok just to say Wally’s training is coming on very well…

Sit – Wait and Down are all commands he follows and follows well…

Millie has of course helped in this by showing him how to do things for treats !!!

One thing he has mastered and much better than Millie is the “High Five”…

WHERE’S WALLY..? HERE’S WALLY!!!

Yes I have gone and done it…

Got myself a new ‘doodle lol…

Say hello to Wally a strapping 12 week old Goldendoodle puppy…

I’m delighted to say Millie absolutely adores him…

Bless her heart she hasn’t left his side since he arrived 2 days ago…

OK here’s the story of Wally and me…

Neil and I had gone away for the weekend as it was my birthday…

We were in Liverpool to visit my eldest son and do the whole “Beatles thing”…

I’d spotted “Wally” on line and had fell in love immediately…

I mentioned it to Neil and he kind of shrugged lol…

After plying him with a few beers at the Albert Dock I suggested we got him…

What could he do but agree lol…

So the next day at the crack of dawn – and a bad hangover for Neil lol – we set off…

That’s a drive from Liverpool to deep into the fens of Lincolnshire – a very long drive…

Long story short we both fell and love and before we knew it he was home…

The first night Millie was staying with Biddy – Paddy and Lynn…

So we hoped he would settle easily and quite quickly after such a tiring day…

We were both absolutely knackered lol…

Wally made it quite clear he was not happy about sleeping alone…

He actually screamed – and I mean – screamed the place down…

I tried to ignore it but he’d had such a day I settled on the sofa and he thankfully slept through…

So to the grand introduction…

Wally was very stand offish – and not at all sure about his new surroundings…

However as soon as Millie appeared this scared shaking little chap went into “doodle mode” big time…



As you can see Millie was a little bemused by this little noisy upstart…

But soon took charge and gently put him in his place…




MILLIE AND WALLY FRIENDS FOR LIFE ALL READY

As I said – since then she hasn’t left his side…

They play so very well together and he follows her around copying all she does…

He has really taken to me but was a little unsure about Neil at first…

But thanks to Millie showing the way he’s now coming out of his shell a bit…

So there you have it – a new dood to my brood…

Could it be the last…haha…

I have two weeks off work so plenty of time to get to know him and him me…

And plenty of time to update you all with the news and photos…

I have a ton of photographs from the last two ‘Doodle Meets…

SLEEPING OFF YET ANOTHER MAD PLAY SESSION

FIRSTLY my deepest apologies for the total lack of updates…

No excuses other than life has a nasty habit of taking over lol…

And there’s certainly a lot of “dashing” about lol…

The good news is I promise the Goldendoodle Diary updates will get back to normal !!!

OK the last time we met I was saying a sad goodbye to my baby boy Dave the Doodle real name Max lol…

Oh boy has he grown into an absolute honey monster…

WOW I MEAN THAT GUY IS HUGE !!!


You might also notice that some of the galleries are missing…

Neil assures me they will return – but he upgraded the script and well – Mr Techno Head not lol…

I also have to say a big hello to all our new readers…

Some don’t even own a dog let alone a ‘doodle…

But they seem to enjoy all the adventures Millie and me have…

So hi and don’t be a “lurker” leave a comment maybe – we don’t bite honest lol…

(only when riled lol)

OK onto what’s been happening…

As promised we took Millie away for a week or R and R…

She really did need it after 9 puppies and that terrible case of mastitis…

We chose Norfolk as it is most definitely the most dog friendly county out there…

Lots of amazing wide deserted sandy beaches and almost 100% dog friendly pubs – bliss…

We were delighted to meet up with Murphy and his wonderful family and had a fab day…

We met at Brancaster Beach – just wow what a dream place – and then had a lovely lunch in an olde worlde pub…

Murphy is an absolute star and a total credit to his family…

He was a little nervous around a very excitable Millie at first – but soon sorted her out…

MURPHY IS GROWING INTO A LOVELY BIG GOLDENDOODLE

MURPHY SUDDENLY REALIZED THAT WAS HIS “GRANDDAD” LOL

MURPHY THE GOLDENDOODLE PUPPY CUTE AND CLEVER!!!

Murphy was absolutely amazing…

Completely bombproof and ran his little heart out…

Like all pups with “new folks” he was pleased to see us – but a curious thing happened…

After about half an hour or so of play and fussing us – he suddenly stopped in his tracks and stared at Neil…

There was a classic double take and he launched himself at his “granddad” lol…

We’re meeting up with him – and a few more of the little “doods” later this month – more on that at the end of this post…

Millie absolutely loved her week away – we had a fab cosy cottage and walked ourselves silly…

The weather was absolutely perfect for a quiet week away…

The days were fresh windy and sunny and the evenings dark and cold…

After a day exploring we’d return home – log burner on and relax in the leather layZboys lol…

We also met up with old friends Gary and Sue and their Boxer dog Rosa…

After Rosa asserted herself the two dogs got on really well and we had a fabulous day on the beach…

99% of the families who had Millie’s pups have kept in touch which is great…

As the weeks go on I shall keep you all updated…

COOKIE GROWING INTO A TRULY BEAUTIFUL GOLDENDOODLE


Big news for us is our little Molly won a cute pet competition – wow!!!

She always was the “little princess” of the pack – remember her as aloof little Red..?

A quick update on all of Millies pups – (more details next time honest)…

Digby was a little tricky over his first few weeks – trying to assert himself somewhat – but I’m pleased he’s settling well…

Lulu continues to be a crazy little madam – but in a truly lovely way lol…

Mazola has settled into her new life so very well and adores the children…

Murphy as you have seen is an absolute star…

Max is the life and soul of the family and a very big boy…

Cookie is blooming into the most beautiful ‘doodle you’ve ever seen…

Lilly is the cutest naughtiest little thing you ever did see…

Tilly is absolutely doted on by her family and is absolutely gorgeous…

Molly the “Essex Girl” is on her way to becoming the next top dog model lol…

OK that’ll do for this update – and yes I shall be doing this more often…

So the Midlands Doodle Meet is arranged for November 20th at Coombe Abby…

We’re so excited to see that a lot of Millie’s pups are coming!!!

THE ‘DOODLE PUPS LEARN TO SIT AND BEG LOL


THEN there were just three little Goldendoodle puppies…

And whilst I write this there’s only one – our little Max (or Dave as he’s known in these parts lol)…

Well I say “little” – he has a squawk as big as his feet !!!

It was his first night alone without the litter last night…

He howled for 2 hours – he was in such a state I had to come down to him…

He eventually fell asleep – but he really is missing his brothers and sisters…

Millie totally ignored the noise lol – well she is still shattered from the mini Midlands ‘doodle meet…



MILLIE TAKES A MUD BATH LOL


As you can see she had an absolute ball and loved seeing her best mates Biddy – and of course Paddy and Lynn…

OK onto the last of the little ‘doods…

They had a whale of a time their last week with us…

I think they enjoyed the more personal touch and loved the “sit and beg” game…

…aren’t they just clever little ‘doodles !!!



MILLIE JOINS IN THE GOLDENDOODLE PUPPY TRAINING CLASS

The last day with the three puppies didn’t start too well lol…

We were woken around 4am to a noise of real distress from all three…

Convinced someone had broken in and was trying to steal them we raced down the stairs…

Some how and no idea on God’s earth how – a black kitten had got into their room…

They had obviously woken and spotted it…

She was a beauty and sat bold as brass staring at them…

The three amigos were in a dreadful state lol…

It took us a long long time to calm them down…

Big tough guys I think not lol…

Our little Lulu (White) was the first to leave us yesterday…



LULU CUDDLES HER NEW BIG SISTER (we love the collar and tag!!!)

She has been a complete star this past few weeks…

Always helping with the cleaning up (lol)…

And always first to come for a cuddle or lick and fuss over any pups who were sad or distressed…

I just know her new family absolutely adore her and she’s going to have a fantastic life…

Word reaches us that she already adores their Labrador Stanley and he her – that is really sweet…

We were both a little sad to see her go – but Millie’s Dad in particular was very quiet…

Maz and Lulu have both been his little “angels” (sometimes the “sisters of sin” lol) since they were born…



MAZSOLA OFF TO PASTURES NEW – AND SOON TO BE BI LINGUAL !!!

Mazsola’s family arrived late afternoon and mum and dad were very excited…

Little Lilac seemed delighted to meet them again and even allowed a lot of tummy tickles from her new dad…

Now THAT is a rare honour…

They were always hoping for a mischievous puppy…

And with little Maz they have got that in bucketfuls ha ha…

If Millie’s Dad was quiet when Lulu left – I swear I saw a tear in his eye when his little Mazola left…

I have to admit this past week the two girls have gotten to me too…

Both absolute stunners and everything you would want in a dog…

Smart – pretty – loving – naughty – feisty – they have it in bag fulls…

OK that leaves us with our old mate Max (Blue/Dave)…




DAVE THE ‘DOODLE – HE LIKES BUCKETS AND DRAINS LOL

He kind of eyed us all suspiciously when we opened the puppy gate giving him the run of the downstairs…

He spent a long time sniffing around and playing with his mum…

But it is at my feet he wants to be – and still whimpers when I leave the room…

He’s the strong sensitive type I reckon lol…

As I mentioned earlier we put him back in the puppy room at bedtime…

But he was having none of it…

We have some work to do there I feel lol…

Max leaves us on Friday (his family are on honeymoon in the US)…

I shall be extremely sorry to see him go – we have a real natural bond going on…

Until then whilst I’m at work Millie’s Dad will have the hound dog howls ha ha…

We have received lots of calls emails texts and photos of the little ‘doodle pups…

I can’t tell you how happy it makes us to see they’re all settled in and happy…

I guess every time I pop a blog post up I’ll slap a few photos/movies on too…

Photos off digital cameras are HUGE !!!

So before uploading them to the site – firstly download – EASY THUMBNAILS – it’s completely free…

Under the settings go for 600 wide 800 high…

Under New Name add prefix tn_…

Then choose the photo from the window and click make (if you are doing lots click make all)…

You’ll now get resized photos with the prefix tn_ (thumbnail)…

So big JPG.1 would now be tn_JPG.1 – it’s smaller and fits nicely into forums !!!

OK enough techno speak I’m off for a girly morning shopping and coffee with Millie lol…

It was always our Saturday ritual and she loves the butcher’s shop !!!
